Murder at the Creature Feature: Halloween Murder Mystery Party Kit

Halloween night. A horror legend’s premiere party. One death scene that was a little too real. Who killed Count Vincent?

Turn your Halloween party into a monster-sized murder mystery. Your guests arrive as eight monsters at Ravenscroft Manor, a gothic pile above the vineyards of Franschhoek, for the world premiere of horror director Vincent Ravenscroft’s final film. At midnight he rises from a coffin in the family crypt, bites a fake blood capsule and toasts his guests: “I’ve been dying to see you all.” Four minutes later he’s dead, poisoned with wolfsbane from his own Poison Garden. Over three rounds the evidence comes out, secrets spill and alibis crack. Then everyone makes an accusation, and the murderer confesses.

New in this kit

• Secret missions: every character has a silly secret mission, like getting another guest to howl at the moon or measuring guests “for a coffin”.
• Blood Money: printable Ravenscroft Rands for bribes, the Midnight Auction of a sealed bonus clue and the Morgue Hotline, where players buy yes-or-no questions.
• Evidence you can hold: a shop receipt, a security radio log, a cut-and-paste curse letter, a photo-booth strip and pages from a visitors’ book.
• A door poster, a Creature Feature feast and a monster playlist to set the scene.
